Alan remains critically stable with no changes from yesterday afternoon.

Blood Drive for Alan (Location Change)

There will be a blood drive held on Saturday, August 13. It will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Clovis on the corner of Peach and Nees from 8:00AM-1:00PM.

Please tell your friends and family to come and donate blood.

As of 7/30/11 Alan has used 131 units of blood products (blood, plasma and platelets) only at Fresno Community Hospital alone just to keep him alive. Thank you to all who have donated for Alan. For those who donated to another blood center (ie Red Cross, etc) other than the Central California Blood Bank, please email us at howisalan@gmail.com so we can include your contributions on our graph. Again, thank you all for donating blood.

Why the blog?

Alan was admitted to the Selma hospital on July 8. He was then transferred to Hanford, Visalia, and is now at Fresno community hospital. The purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends informed on his condition. We will be updating daily. Please keep Alan in your prayers. Thank you for all of your help and support.
